History:James had always wanted to be part of the EAF since he was young, his father was a Citadel admiral and his father before him. In short James’ entire life seemed to circle around the proud tradition of the Norrington family, to serve the Citadel in their fleet with utmost precision and loyalty. It was no surprise that James therefore pride himself in being the best of anyone, he had an air of arrogance whenever he was around people, something that worked in his favour during dinner parties at the Citadel’s elite parties though it did mean that he seldom had any friends at all.
However tragedy struck the young admiral-to-be when his father’s ship was attacked and destroyed by pirates. This created a deep loathing for pirates and during his time in the EAF he was well known to execute pirates the old fashioned way: hanging them till they were dead. His services to the EAF and to the Citadel did not go unnoticed and soon he became an admiral of the fleet, commanding a sizeable fleet of ships while his own flagship, the HMS Sentinel
