Goals: Restoration of Cybertron, peaceful co-existence with Decepticons, restoration of race's glory, exploration and discovery of the galaxy.
Faction History: The Autobots never would exist if it wasn't for the Decepticons, who sought total dominion over Cybertron and possibly the entire Galaxy. A young clerk, an archivist named Orion Pax, had been lead to the core of Cybertron at the height of the war. As the Decepticons waged brutal war on Cybertron's rulers, the High Council, Orion Pax was lead to the core of Cybertron itself, where he stood before the very Spark of Primus, the life-source of Cybertron itself. Primus sensed the nobility and the compassion of this clerk, as many had before, and bestowed upon him the Matrix, a shard of his very spark. This shared spark between Primus and Orion Pax reformatted the humble Clerk into Optimus Prime, last of the Primes. Optimus rallied many to his cause and named his companions Autobots, taking the face of Primus as their insignia.

Autobots and Decepticons waged their war over Cybertron and in secret on Earth, but have gained a weak but holding truce in order to restore their homeworld. Optimus has vanished, as has Megatron of the Decepticons. However, the Autobots endure and await the return of their Leader.

This autobot stands roughly eight feet tall, making him among the shortest.

Powers: Transformation: Cybertronians invented and mastered the art of transformation during the great war. Cosmos is able to shapeshift himself between his humanoid robot and starfaring saucer forms at will.

Saucer Form

Energy Conversion and Consumption: Energon is created within cosmos when he consumes energy sources. Raw energon is a powerful element that fuels transformers. Any fuel substance that can be used to generate energy can be consumed and turned into energon by Cosmos after he sufficiently analyzes it.

Mechanical: Cosmos is entirely mechanical, his technology is his biology. A living machine. He's capable of interfacing directly with numerous machines, using his living code to rapidly access other technology and interface with computers as well as perform repairs on himself, augmenting his machinery and weaponry, and altering the capabilities of his vast circuits.

Spark: The only way to kill a transformer is to snuff out its Spark, the surging power of life gifted by their god and creator Primus. Cosmos can survive near-total destruction so long as his Spark is intact and receives energon. 

Abilities:
Space Travel: Cosmos is able to achieve escape velocity and orbit in his Saucer form. Originally fitted for short range travel and orbital missions for the Autobots during the war on earth, Cosmos has refit himself with an advanced storage and processing system for energon, allowing him to travel in space with ease and minimal fuel consumption, capable of traveling between the stars with modified Phase Drive.

Hyper-Accurate Vision: Cosmos' eyes are his best feature, meant to allow him to track the precise movement of a human-sized object from 600 miles above in orbit and transmit that data in real-time to ground based computer systems. Cosmo's got eagle eyes and then some.

Ace Flyer: Often bored on his long and lonely missions in high orbit, Cosmos spent much of his time practicing zero-G maneuvers, often dancing through meteor showers and seeing how close to the surface of the moon he could skim. Considering how he IS his own ship, Cosmos' reaction times are second to none.

Weapons:

In robot mode, Cosmos hosts three powerful energon-fueled concussion cannons in each arm (a total of six) capable of blasting areas with steel shattering force meant to kill other cybertronians. He doesn't enjoy using these cannons but puts them to good use.

In his saucer mode, Cosmo has access to both fore and aft high power lasers used to down vehicles and destroy space-debris as well as a point-defense turret used to pepper targets with energy blasts as well as destroy threats like high speed missiles, rockets, even mines.


Weaknesses:

Finite Fuel Supply: Cosmos has modified himself for maximum fuel efficiency, but that doesn't mean his reserves are eternal. He needs to refuel to keep himself going and long distance space travel, prolonged combat, and similar tasks can eat into the energon he uses to keep himself active. If his energy runs out, he shuts down and remains in a dormant state of stasis until enough energy is put into him to reactivate his higher functions.

Mechanical Body: Cosmos is a living machine, but he's still a machine. Any injuries and damage he sustains doesn't heal over time, he must replace and repair damaged parts to restore function to them, and it is entirely possible for him to be damaged indefinitely, even critical systems cannot be restored unless repaired.


History:

Millions of years before humans evolved on earth, before Khaless forged the first Bat'Leth, before Elcor were better than Turians (I.E. since both races gained sentience), before... Yoda, There was Cybertron. Autonomous robotic organisms came to live on the planet Cybertron. Cybertronians lived in harmony, though foreboding actions and dark plots from the city state of Kaon. A Miner turned gladiator who had taken the name of Megatronus had gathered the support of the downtrodden and the violent. Forming a small army that rapidly grew and rallied to the banner of Megatronus, who saw fit to shorten his name. By the time Megatron's ambitions were made aware to the rest of Cybertron, it was already too late. The Great war had begun, and the great and beautiful planet of Cybertron was wreathed in fire. For countless cycles, the Decepticons led by Megatron and the Autobots, an army led by the Last Prime to save the world from Decepticon domination, clashed across the surface. Soon the war had poisoned the very core of Cybertron, the spark of Primus himself, and the planet itself began to shut down. With life-giving energon drying up and the war dragging on, the Autobots began a great exodus of the planet.

Aboard their flagship, their last hope, the Ark, the Autobots made a desperate run from Cybertron into the great unknown. Megatron followed fast aboard his own ship, the Nemesis. Battling between the stars, Optimus Prime and Megatron clashed aboard the Ark, bound by grappling lines and boarding chutes. The two ships spiraled out of control in the battle and crash landed on the planet earth, Nemesis deep in the ocean and the Ark buried within a volcano. The two ships remained dormant for millions of years until a freak volcanic eruption awoke the systems within the ship, resulting in the resuscitation of the Autobots and Decepticons. Their war was waged in secret on earth, until finally the Autobots were able to restore the Ark and the Decepticons were able to build and perfect their Space Bridge technology. Both species returned to the stars, seeking to return to and restore Cybertron. An uneasy truce was agreed on as Autobot and Decepticon alike set about restoring their homeworld, Megatron and Optimus Prime both seeming to vanish from their respective factions...

Cosmos struck out on his own shortly after this, feeling that there is more to the universe than his home and its struggle. He plans to return when he finds something to help his people, something to help his Autobot brethren restore their homeworld and protect it from the possibility of another great war. Time is running out and Autobots and Decepticons alike are fading away, going into stasis and deactivating as their energon runs dry. Cosmos and what few others lost to the stars might be all that is left, fighting to save a dying race on a dying world...
