"Not really a celebration honestly, more of a how you say... prendre," she said mimicking a terrible french accent, "There's a group of people heading to the citadel they'll be asking the council to start the celebration and will be setting up the fireworks for the festival and stuff. A kind of welcoming gesture I suppose given that these guys want to-"ding, "oh! New message!" she instantly dived for her phone like a ditz, "Oh never mind syncing complete, silly me."

Unknown to anyone a lone Asari huntress was on the prowl for her next prey, Telaria had switched her C-sec uniform for a less obvious one, a dark suit that was so common within the Asari culture. There were plenty of Asaris in Citadel and even more so around the same time so it was no brainer that she would blend in. After all...the subtle art of assassination and silence was what she was best at, what her race was well known for other than their biotics. She scanned the bar looking for any sign of trouble, a sleight of hand, the shiftiest of looks, the wary cast of eyes looking behind them as though a C-sec officer could be right behind them.
None of them would have ever suspected an Asari of being an officer of the law. No...she was the law unto herself. She would not let any evil run rampant, she would bring justice to them, her eyes shifted towards the bartender and another woman talking to each other. Bartenders knew things that officers didn't, that was because they talked with the most shiftiest of patrons. Telaria got up and moved towards the bartender and the woman sitting next to the woman as she tapped for a drink, she then remained subtle and acted like any other patron while keeping her ears listening.

Illyria turned her head slightly to watch the newcomer. "Great, A huntress" she thought to herself. Shaking her head she ordered another drink and quickly made sure here weapons were concealed. If there was one thing Illyria was better at then hand to hand combat was spotting others who had killed. It seems to stain the soul and those who had done if for whatever reason always seemed to stand out among those who still had there blood innocence.

"So chicky, you want another drink?" She asked the Twi'lek chick before looking over to the Asari, she paid no mind to her, she wasn't exactly exotic looking at all thus made her blend, "By the way," she said looking back to the Twi'lek, "I'm Jessica, sorry for the vague information on the party, they just haven't set up for it or asked the council yet so it's kind of like a throw up in the air and I'd rather not get people all excited for it just yet."
She smiled and looked down to her phone where she began scrolling through Citadel records, it was the only reason why she was on the Citadel at all, just to get a direct link for Harker even if it was the illegal way into it, Harker wanted to know any and everything just like on Genesis.

Chicky? did she really call her Chicky? Illyria raised a brow.
"Do you really care if i want another drink or are you just making small talk?"
Illyria tapped her long black nails in a clear show of irritation that this woman was rudely checking her phone whilst talking to her.
"My name is Ardana'turrazza" She offered a small smile"
The name Illyria was obviously giving a false name but this was due to a multitude of reasons the first being secrecy.

Telaria continued in silence as she drank, there wasn't much information coming right now, but she knew that persistence would pay off. Eventually there would be more information whether by accident or by normal means as the red skinned alien turned to her and introduced herself, "It's a pleasure to meet you Ardana'turrazza, my name is Telaria," she said with a smile.

"Oh of course I care if you're watered, small talk comes as an added extra," she smiled her flirty nature came as an attachment of her work, she was a professional after all, she downed the most powerful woman along with her royal guard without so much as a scratch, and still no one knew who did it all because she played the perfect role as a flirty ditsy blonde. Just like now as she was syncing into the restricted files of the Citadel she continued to be outgoing and somewhat annoying apparently. She was entirely sober by this point but the drunk act had been played to perfection so many times before.
Her trip here wasn't just work though, she was actually enjoying herself, socializing, "Sounds like a lovely name, even if it's rather different from what I'm used to," she looked over yonder ways to the Asari, "Oh you want to join the small talk?" She smiled still fooling with her phone locking it into another syncing zone. She expected Harker was ready for this one too, her ass was on the line after all if things went wrong.

Illyria's hand faster then one can blink came crashing down on Jessica's hand. With a slow turn of her head she looked over at her fully for the first time. Barely above a whisper she spoke calmly and softly
"Now let me give you some advice. Your routine is both irritating and played out. If you wish to talk to me then actually talk to me do not sit there and "Sync" your phone to private records.......Yes i am aware you are not browsing the "Extranet" And as far as Ditsy blonde routines go.....I've seen better"
Illyria released her hand and placed her own back on her glass.
"Now you were saying?"

Telaria barely flinched when the alien woman decided to retort back to the human, it was a common thing...humans thought that they were superior above all the other races. It was a farce and the other races knew as well as did the more knowledgeable humans, but Telaria had no intention of intervening unless it came to violence...than she would have to intervene as it is her duty as a C-sec officer. She simply kept on drinking while smiling at the woman.

She smiled her hand had moved away and Illyria's was resting on the table now she winked at her as Illyria quietly spoke to her and her smile grew a bit wider, "You feel better?" Her words were louder she didn't care much if anyone heard her currently it wouldn't affect anything she had to say.
"For one, my act is part of letting loose and my true personality freely wandering," there was a brief pause as she waved another drink her way, "secondly, that's not very professional calling someone out on their work," she winked again.
"And lastly, as I was saying, the party is about to start," she set her phone down now that it had fully synced with the citadel. She pointed to the view screen across the room where it changed from playing a commercial to the scenes of a current raid on a pirate ship conducted by a Guardian, in fact all the screens in the room had changed to show this man slaughtering every last one of the pirates ruthlessly, every screen on the citadel had apparently changed before all screens went dark, she said quietly to Illyria, "And now, everyone gets to see how ruthless council rule is. What kind of revolution do you think is going to come from this by the people?"
Jess leaned back over to accept her drink, the room began to quietly chat about what the screens just showed she looked to Telaria, "I hope you're enjoying yourself."

Illyria may underestimated this blonde human, Yet she would not show it.
"Unimpressive"
She smirked inwardly there would come a day when a confrontation would arise and that, that she would enjoy. Rising from the seat at the bar she rose to her full height and rand a hand over her Lekku. She turned her gaze to the Assari huntress.
"I leave you to entertain this human for now i retire from the stage."
Grabbing her jacket from the seat she made her way from the bar and as with most of her kind garnered the approving glances of both males and females of other species.

Telaria stifled a laugh as the alien woman left the bar while the other woman kept playing it cool, the 'party' then began as the screens turned a raid on a pirate ship by a Guardian and how every pirate was killed ruthlessly. Telaria did not hold much love for pirates, they were law-breakers and as such she treated them like criminals though how other people dealt with them she did not care at all, it was their choice after all. The screens then went black and after a couple more banters the alien woman left citing that it was Telaria's turn to entertain her as she scoffed in a playful way.
The other woman asked if she was enjoying herself as Telaria nodded, "Quite an entertainment you put just now, it seems you disapprove of the way that the Citadel council deals with pirates, do you think that there is another way that they can be handled?" she asked in a cool voice, there was something about a revolution from the way the woman talked. This could be something important and therefore she would need all of her skills as an Asari to extract that information.

She smiled at the Asari, "I don't care about pirates if I had it my way I'd do it the same way. No, the person who paid me to do that basically hates everything about the council and he's looking to destabilize it with the word of the people. I mean, politics come and go but can you honestly say a pseudo council like the one that runs things is a good idea?"
Jessica picked up her glass and downed it in several drinks before setting the empty glass down again, "Besides, they don't even allow anyone but the humans onto the council, that's bigotry."

Telaria raised an eyebrow calming herself down, it seemed that she had stepped into something big, something major. A case like this...she couldn't just simply walk away, "No I don't think so either," Telaria said, "I mean the Council acts as though humans are the most superior race in the world, no offence to you of course, but I mean they limit how much power aliens have in the Council meetings. How is that fair and democratic? I think the Council is wrong to do that, they need to give us aliens much more freedom on what we can say. As an Asari I know that we are highly respected among the Council, but only for our wisdom, I know that other alien species don't have that same right," she finished with a shake of her head and a sigh, "maybe this person will change how things are going on around here, and maybe...." she then leaned looked around and leaned forward, "and say...maybe I'm willing to help?"

"Exactly, but aside from that, everyone can tell that the council is a two man show, the other two council members are there just for the extra faces and additional voices, every time they speak they get shot down by Short or Bu," Jess waved the bartender off from giving her another drink she had enjoyed her share and gotten buzzed several times, thankfully she was completely sober now in the off chance something went down on the spot.
"So go help," she shrugged, "I give it a day before the Galactic news replays the videos and the general population begins questioning the logic of the council. Go question their logic and make history."
